Congratulations Graduates of 2012: Improving your graduation creative shots

By Twadder Boy

This time of the year is the time of graduations. I still remember when I graduated last year. I was a graduate of batch 2011. Remembering having my graduation photos taken and I was then looking forward for good creative shots. I was already gaining weight at that time and saw that a lot of my pictures had the wrong angles making me look fat. I chose the best shots and enhanced them myself using photoshop. You can also try editing your own photos, by doing that you can actually get the results that you really want. Here are some before and after pictures.

In this first photo I improved the background.by darkening it and adding some purple color to make it look scarier. I'm actually a vampire here but since it looks plain. I decided to add the light effect so it would seem like I'm holding a power ball or something so now its like I'm from an X-men Movie or something. Since this is my creative shot for graduation I cropped another picture and added my head to this one. Making it look more creative.
Before
After

In this second Photo i thought that the shot was too far so I cropped the picture to make it smaller. This made a huge difference right away . I made the background darker and improved the color of the picture itself. Since I'm a vampire here I added fangs and added hair to make it look dramatic.I think adding hair also made me look thinner lol. You can click on the picture to see the fangs, they're small though.

After

See  how you can improve your photos? Giving it life and Making it more dramatic. You can change it until you get the results you want. Try to picture out what you want before you start and while doing it you'll see that it would even turn out better. It's fun to use you creativity once in a while.

Fire & Ice members part 1

by Twaddler Boy

My band Fire & Ice is composed of 2 male vocalists, 2 female vocalists, a drummer, keyboardist, lead guitarist and a bassist. We play different kinds of music but we are mostly into rnb hiphop. We had a photo shoot. I was the photographer as well.  Here are some of the photos taken.

ASTRA

She is one of the two female vocalists . Astra is a good performer with a powerful voice. Seeing her onstage is completely different from seeing her hanging out with her friends. She is really jolly, extremely noisy and very funny lol. I love this girl. :) and she looks a little bit like Nina. lol

CHERO

He is one of the original members of Fire & Ice. Chero has been playing the drums at an early age. He is married to Jacque, they have a little boy. They are also waiting for another baby since Jacque is pregnant. Chero is a very talented and serious musician and knows about a lot about his craft.

DANIEL

He is one of the new members of the band. Daniel is currently enrolled in college but shows a huge dedication to the band.

 IVES

Ives is the first vocalist member of the band since he is one of the founders together with Chero and some of our previous members. Chero and Ives are the only two remaining original members of the group. Ives as he "self proclaimed" lol is a vocal acrobat. He can sing really high notes can really play with his voice.

SWUNDRA

Currently I see her as someone who is searching for herself. She is the youngest member of fire & Ice. Swundra will be graduating college soon and is looking forward for a good career in singing. She loves to go out and drink with friends and was a classmate of mine in college.

Lets get it on

Hugger Mugger Signing in.

by Hugger Mugger

This is Hugger Mugger signing in. First and foremost I’m a dad of two lovely girls. I work full time and a part time slave in the corporate world. I’m a tech junkie, film buff and I also make music as a hobby. I like to tinker, mod and take apart any electronic device I get interested in. The first item I took apart when I was a kid was the very first Walkman that Sony made. It's actually a hand me down item from my brother. He broke it, then I opened it up and fixed it. It was first successful repair I made. After that I opened up lots of devices just take a peek on how it works.

My existence constantly revolves around technology and other things related to it. I won’t be blogging on how to take apart things, but I’ll be blogging about reviews for the latest tech gadgets, films and on how to balance life being a dad with my hobby.

Sweven Maiden and Serene Apricity: The Introduction

WOMEN AND FASHION

1. Sweven Maiden
Hi there! I'm Sweven Maiden, one of the contributors here on sundaytrioloco. I thought you might want to know that I'm 30 year old and the oldest of the gang (ouch). I have a full time job and currently living alone. Unlike my friend twaddler boy who's a band singer, I don't really have real talent. I can't sing but I really love music. Majority of my music collection is RnB. I'd really love to learn how to dance but I can't! In college I  enrolled in "jazz dance'" for PE and was optimistic that it would help me learn how to dance. But I never learned! It's like my feet have their own minds and they won't do what I tell them to haha. But I do love writing

On this blog, I will be mostly writing about make up, fashion, or just any girl stuff along with my partner serene apricity. I fell in love with make up can you image after I turned 30! I guess it started when I got hooked on make up beauty gurus on Youtube, michellephan has got to be the culprit! I will be doing some make up tutorial, reviews and other stuff and I hope you like it!

Hi there I am Twaddler Boy

by Twaddler Boy

MUSIC AND NIGHT LIFE

I graduated college last March 2011. I was a working student for 3 years because I started to live by on my own when I turned 19. I have a regular job and I am with the same company for almost 3 years now. Staying up late at night is something that I love to do and I’m lucky my job requires me to work graveyard shifts. There’s less traffic and I can stay away from the scorching sun in this humid tropical country.

As a young adult I have a lot of dreams and I envision myself fulfilling them wen I reach my 30’s lol. The problem is I have too many lol. One of them is to be a professional singer. I have always thought that I could sing since I was probably 8 years old.  The only songs I knew back then were the National anthem and a few Christmas carols. Unfortunately it stayed that way until the end of high school. I didn’t have enough confidence to develop that talent due to criticisms I received from some of my older relatives. They said I was out of tune, though I always knew they were wrong and they were the ones out of tune lol. My singing talent was first recognized when I auditioned for a Chinese singing contest at the University I was enrolled in. I was forced to audition together with 3 of my classmates because our foreign language teacher said we will get plus points in class. Knowing that I was failing that subject, I signed up and saw that there were already more than 200 students who auditioned before us.  My classmates and I were confident that we have our additional grades knowing our names are on the list and then we sang infront of a judge. Since there were so many, we were sure that most of them were good and one of them will be chosen not us which was a good thing lol. After a week I received a text message saying that among the students who auditioned I was the one chosen to represent my college (wow). I lost the competition lol because I forgot the lyrics, but of course it was in Mandarin lol. Some of my school mates saw me and one of them was forming a band. That was the start of my band career and a life of music and challenge. I will take you to my fun life, working a regular job but still fulfilling my dream of spending everyday as fun as Sunday.

I wish it was a Sunday

By Sweven Maiden

My favorite day of the week is Sunday. It says in the bible that Sunday is the day of the" Sabbath"; the day of rest after 6 days of work. Most people work 5 days a week, sucks if you have to work 6. But for most people who do work Monday to Friday, Saturday is when they socialize. This is usually the day spent with friends, shopping, movies, events and so on and so forth. But I believe most would agree with me that Sunday is when we get to spend time with our families. So most would rather just stay at home, for family movies, playing with kids, catching up with the rest of the household. Sunday has this cozy feeling to it, it's the day when everyone is given the license to get lazy. If you don't feel like cleaning your house, doing your homework (for students), running errands, it's OK. And this is why I wish it was a Sunday (always). This is the day when you can set aside any troubles, pressure at work or any issues in other areas of lives. Besides we have 6 other days to deal with those!

Hoping it's a Sunday

by Serene Apricity
Almost everyone of us look forward to Sundays....I do, though its unfortunate that I had to work on this day. However, that won't make me not like this day any less.

We would all almost agree that we love Sundays because of the following reasons.

1. Sunday is a day to sit back and relax, watch TV and movies, listen to music, go to the spa or gym, and go out to have fun.

2. Sunday gives you the perfect excuse not to wake up early for school or work. You could lie in bed all day without your alarm clock bugging you to be up early.

3. Sunday is a time with friends, family, pets and loved ones.

Amidst our busy days, we should always see to it that we at least spend a few hours of our day like its a Sunday. Sunday makes us realize the things that matter to us and gives us the opportunity to appreciate the simple things in life that makes us happy.

Everyday is like Sunday

by: Hugger Mugger

Everyday is like Sunday, this is a song from the legendary song writer Morrissey. This is the tune that keeps playing over my head when my favorite day comes close.  Well, when you think about Sunday it’s a day to rest and spend time to our family.  Ideally, that’s a Sunday for normal folks with regular day jobs.  But always remember that there are less fortunate individuals that work on a weekend especially on a Sunday.  Unfortunately, our group falls into that category.  This doesn’t mean that we don’t like working on Sundays.  We go to work on Sundays but there’s isn’t any work to be done.  Well, it is fun because you go to work and its really dead silent that you can hear a person typing meters away from you.  That is why we love longing for this day to come once a week.  We simply call it our 3rd rest day.
