Cagbalete Island

by Twaddler Boy

2012 family Vacation 4th stop: Pansacola Beach Cagbalete Island

Cagbalete Island is part of Mauban Quezon. Mauban Quezon is 45 minutes away from Lucena City the capital of Quezon province and a boat trip from the town of mauban would take 30 mins to Cagablete Island. My uncle rented a boat that we used.

Photo of Pantalan in Mauban where we took the boat going to Cagbalete

View, while we were leaving the town of Mauban

My cousins Abby, Maimai, Karen, Joana and Joana's boy friend John
Arriving at Cagbalete Island. From here we took a smaller boat that to the shore or you can actually walk. The water is just below the waist in the morning due to low tide.

We tried to feel the sand with our toes lol

and again its time to eat lol. Don't foret to mention that this chubby guy on the right is me lol. First come first serve lolol

Its been several years since I ate Tamalis. So right after arriving I ate 5 nyahahahaahah!

too bad we didn't have enough time to ride these boats. We were planning to have race with it lol.

This part was nice. It was oldies vs youngsters lol. My dad uncle and 2 other  older men in the family vs me Joana, Karen JOhn and Abby. We realized that our parents generation was really sporty. It was like stealing candy form a baby. My team lost so badly lol.

We heard music coming from somewhere and decided to find it thinking that there might be a party there. We found a group of houses and it was their village's music. No party anywhere in the Island lol.
John said this wasn't his first time to see a " Poso" . He said he already saw one in Jamaica or Mexico. I forgot what he said lol
We were not able to finish our coconut juice. We didn't know there was a lot inside
I think this is Jerome my brother

Time to go back to Mauban. It was only a day tour since we needed to go to other places that day.

I decided that when I go back to Cagbalete I will be making a short film there.

Kamay ni Hesus, Lucban Quezon

by Twaddler Boy

2012 family Vacation 3rd stop: Kamay ni Hesus, Lucban Quezon

We also went to Kamay ni Hesus or hand of Jesus in English . It is a grotto found in Lucban Quezon, about 4 to 4 1/2 hour drive from Metro Manila. People receive the miracle of healing in this place by the Catholic Healing Priest Joseph A. Faller which made it famous in the Philippines and world wide. To reach the top you need to climb about 295 steps. Very tiring but the view is very nice and you can also make a wish when you reach the top accroding to my dad lol.I've been here a few times already but it was my first time to see the Noah's Ark which was a new addition to the site. A lot of people visit the place during the holy week since it has the 14 stations of the cross. Here are some of our photos there.
